Pressed Wild Flowers and Plants from an Edwardian Schoolboy's Nature Books
A fabulous collection of pressed flowers and English countryside plants taken from the nature books of Anthony Rich. He lived in Westwall Road,
Streatham Common, South London, at the very beginning of the 19th century, and was an avid and meticulous collector. A postcard I have, which has been sent to the family is postmarked
His plants are beautifully preserved in shades of dark brown to lime green.
Now all are mounted and re-framed in a simple acrylic glazed narrow black frame.
