An English folk art woolwork of an  armoured capital sailing ship c 1860, interestingly both a sail and steam vessel. 

Possibly HMS Resistance or HMS Defence, called ironclads.


With detailed typed description on the reverse (see photo below).


Of good colour and interesting choppy sea, and good sense of movement.
