A very fine watercolour of 2 sisters in white, similar faces, hair styles, pendant necklaces and bracelets.
Dating from around 1860, this double portrait was painted by a very accomplished hand. Much drawn in very fine pencil with areas of bold colour.
The painting is of unusually good size, with minor fading and browning of the paper and housed in its original maple frame and glass.
