"Faithfull Friends" Naive Watercolour

A charming naive watercolour of a horse and dog in a yard with imposing gate beyond. 

The colours are strong.  The painting is housed in it's original frame and mount entitled "FAITHFULL FRIENDS".

The backing board has the label of Alfred Stiles and Sons Ltd, Hammersmith, London W6  The company was well established 

and had a shop at this address in 1930. 

Inscribed lower right "With Love" J. F. Undated.
