Lough Mask s a very large limestone lake which straddles the  Counties Galway and Mayo, Ireland (Eire).

 

Lough Mask is renowned for its' brown trout fishing and 

 

The World Cup Trout Fly Fishing Championship takes place annually on Lough Mask at Cushlough Bay near Ballinrobe.
